Determination of plasma D-lactate concentration using ELISA kit as per manufacturer guidelines of the kit (Shanghai Hengyuan Biological, Shanghai, China).
For the measurement of intestinal inflammation and immune factors concentrations, a 10% tissue homogenate of jejunal and ileal mucosa was produced using saline [59]. The total protein concentration was calculated using the BCA Protein Assay Kit (Beyotime Biotechnology, Nantong, China). The concentrations of IFN-γ and sIgA in jejunal mucosa and ileal mucosa were measured using an ELISA kit per the manufacturer’s instructions (Shanghai Hengyuan Biological, Shanghai, China).
